ECHO is a visual and sound installation created by artist Rowena Pearce, composer Helen Ottaway and sound designer Alastair Goolden., produced by Artmusic The music is scored for trumpet and found sounds recorded in the quarries of East Mendip, Somerset. The album is designed to be listened to while visiting the Step in Stone arts trail in two disused quarries: Westdown/Asham Quarry (22 August - 22 September 2015) and Fairy Cave Quarry (3 - 18 October 2015). stepinstonesomerset.wordpress.com and www.artmusic.org.uk for details.
